Un projet de sciences

Date limite:  mercredi, le 27 janvier, 2016

 Pour ton projet final du vol, tu dois construire et présenter un objet qui vole!  Ton modèle doit être capable de parcourir une distance d’au moins 5 m à cause des propriétés de l’air.

 N’oublie pas de remplir la partie écrite du projet aussi.

Dear Parent/Guardian:  For your child’s final project in our study of flight in science, he/she is expected to construct a simple object that is capable of flying at least 5 m.  (The student can propel the object forward … no jet engines necessary!).  He/she is expected to use everyday materials (ex. thick paper, tubes, metal wire, paper clips, old material or clothing) to complete his/her object.  Your child is also expected to complete the written portion of this project (en français), which includes a detailed, labeled diagram and an explanation of why his/her object flies.  We have reviewed the most important concepts discussed and related vocabulary in French, in class and they are all included in your child’s Science duotangs.  Note that most of the work for this project will have to happen at home.

1. Fais un diagramme etiquetté de ton objet volant, en montrant les quatre forces du vol et les aspects de ton objet qui l’aide à voler (ex. la forme, le poids et la grandeur des ailes, une forme aérodynamique).

2.  Explique, en utilisant tes mots et des mots scientifiques, pourquoi ton objet vol (ou a du mal à voler).
