Bonjour! I hope that you had a chance to enjoy the beautiful winter weather with your family this weekend. A "heads up" that this Friday, February 24th, we will be having a Science test (en français) in our class about changes of state and the differences between physical and chemical changes. Through the preparation of chocolate chip cookies, students will be asked to identify:
a) solids, liquids and gases and the characteristics of each state
b) what is needed in order for a change of state to occur (i.e. heat or la chaleur)
c) the differences between physical and chemical changes and how you know that a chemical change has occurred
We will be reviewing these concepts in class this week and students are welcome to take their green Science duotangs home to study. Let me know if you have any questions.
