This Friday, December 16th we will be having a geometry quiz in Room 204. The students received a review sheet, which will mirror the actual quiz, on Tuesday. They are welcome to take home the quiz and their blue math duotangs to practice for the quiz. For the quiz, students will be expected to draw or create the net/pattern of either a pyramid or a prism, describe, using mathematical language, the object and explain what qualifies it as a pyramid or a prism. (There is a good summary of the differences between the two in their math duotangs.) Finally, the Grade 6's will have to draw two different perspectives of their object on isometric dot paper.
